SYNOPSIS
They have yearned for this space for years and they will no longer leave it. The challenge and the adrenaline are his fuel, and although an opportunistic administrator, the material shortages and the prejudices of the community rise against him, the passion of these eight young urban heroes has taught them that dreams fight against each other.
It doesn't matter if they are 8 years old or 33; whether they go on two, four or eight wheels.
They are united by this new place of belonging: “the park of the ramps”. And although they form an exotic amalgamation of cultures, ideologies and lifestyles, they are able to organize and grow for a shared purpose: to gain recognition for their sport and celebrate the first extreme urban competition in the country.
As they add value to this space for all, their personal journeys roll in pursuit of self-respect and of the other, unbreakable friendship and the epic creative power of youth.
A story inspired by the first practitioners of extreme sports in Cuba.
Rosaida Irízar's original idea was inspired by her own experiences with her son Marcel practicing skateboarding. While noting the benefits for the child's physical and social development, he also interacted and learned about the lives of young practitioners. He learned how they met in improvised places, in public spaces, to do their tricks, without receiving adequate acceptance or recognition of their commitment to develop their sport, marginalized by both society and institutions. Once this space was created, temporarily, the practitioners had to take care of it and preserve it, despite not having the appropriate conditions, Adrenalina 360 is a tribute to these guys, their perseverance and dedication to their dream on wheels.
After an intense and long creative process of 4 years, the series materialized as an audiovisual project for 2008, and its scripts were written by 10 hands, being also the series of adventures who has involved more creators in his writing in the history of Cuban television. Recorded between June 1, 2010 and January 2011, under the advice of Nilda (Niky) Pérez, the general production of Luis Orlando and the general direction of Pablo Javier López Rivas, the series aired its chapter 0 on August 12, 2011, and continued with a frequency of three days a week. The 73rd and last chapter aired on February 12, 2012,
This website is a memoir site for the series, as it was launched on the tenth anniversary of its premiere. Its purpose is to preserve images, experiences and data on one of the most daring and innovative productions produced by TVC for the Aventuras space, a space that has been active since 1960, and It has not had another serial production after Adrenalina 360 concluded, at least until 2022. Therefore, AD360, as we say in summary, became the swan song of the Cuban Adventure.
With thanks to its creators, actors and actresses, production team and especially to the practitioners of these sports who got involved, trained the actors and actresses, acted in the projects and worked tirelessly to leave a mark of their sports passion on the audiovisual memory of the country.
Dedicated to all those who made it possible to launch this dream, and to the memory of Rosaida Irízar Luya (1966-2018), who imagined it and gave many the opportunity to dream by her side and make it a reality.
